LyreIran is a global collaborative platform for string education and performance that seeks to increase access to high-quality education for all.
At Lyreiran, Kimia, Saba and I work hard to provide opportunities for students across the world, with the focus on Iran, our home country. Considering that all three of us are educated in music majors, we believe LyreIran could be a bridge to connect teachers and musicians across the world. Aras Band
A few friends in Minneapolis got together in 2020 to form Aras. Aras is a river which flows between Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan and Armenia and is loved and cherished by a wide group of ethnic groups in the region. There are numerous love songs, patriotic hymns and nostalgic poems in different languages in the region with Aras being the main symbol. Aras group tries to be faithful to its namesake. The river which flows generously passing through different cultures, without discrimination, without prejudice, without preference. Aras plays music from different forms and styles mainly from this region; Persian, Azerbaijanian, Turkish, Armenian, Kurdish to name a few.
